Since 1974, NHBW has been dedicated to uplifting women and families by supporting the entire community, not just individual parts. A key focus of our efforts is literacy, as we recognize that children who do not become proficient readers by third grade face a heightened risk of falling into the school-to-prison pipeline. To combat this, we engage directly with children through reading initiatives, empower parents to foster literacy at home, and encourage families to build a strong foundation for success. At MyoMovement, we’re not just providing therapy — we’re helping individuals and families reconnect with one of the most basic human functions: breathing well. Myofunctional therapy addresses issues that many people don’t even realize are affecting their daily lives — things like mouth breathing, poor sleep, chronic congestion, teeth grinding, speech, and behavioral concerns. Restored Hope Therapy makes a huge impact in our community. We strive to walk alongside families as they navigate needing extra support for their child. We provide pediatric occupational therapy at our clinic but also providing mobile services in family’s homes, daycares/preschools, and within the community. We help children navigate functional play skills, emotional regulation, sensory processing concerns, fine motor skills, self-dressing, self-feeding, and executive functioning skills. Read More>>
