What are you inspired by?

One of our favorite things to do is to ask the folks we are inspired by what they are inspired by. We’ve shared some of their responses below.
Growing up in WNC it was difficult at times, regardless of if it was financially or emotionally. My whole life I searched for outlets to cope with things happening inside my home or within the walls of the schools I attended and the only things that ever brought me peace were things I could escape reality with, things I had control over in portraying the outside world. I have always loved being outside, whether I was swimming in the ocean or hiking up a mountain, I find myself drawn to the freedom and connection felt through spending time outdoors. Inspiration is everywhere. It’s in the beauty and rebirth of nature – say, when you see sprigs regrowing after a forest fire, a flood or a storm.
