We were fortunate to catch up with some brilliant artists, creatives and entrepreneurs from throughout the Houston area and they share the wisdom with us below.
To me, success is about living a life aligned with the goals I’ve set, the values I hold, and the impact I want to make. I’ve accomplished many of the goals I once dreamed of, even those I imagined as a child, and for the ones I haven’t yet reached, I’m still actively and joyfully pursuing them. Read More>>

While our yarn store offers products, our primary focus is on service and community. Our heart is filled every week with all of our community groups. We have a collective of fiber enthusiasts who come together and craft four out of the five days we are open. We provide a welcoming and comfy space with our makeshift living room and classroom spaces. We actively encourage our customers to stay, bring their project, and hang out with us. Read More>>
The most important factor behind our success is our customers!
With a limited marketing budget, we rely heavily on word-0f-mouth. We love to see new customers come in (who usually live right down then road and never knew we were here) and enjoy themselves: drinking wine, roaming the vineyards, sitting on one of our beautifully landscaped patios or petting our horses and sheep. The most important factor behind the success of Trigg Builders has been a commitment to doing things the right way even when it’s not the easy way. Clients trust us because we communicate clearly, educate them throughout the journey, and hold ourselves to a high standard from design through the final punch list. Read More>>

ive/entrepreneur with a strong focus on wellness. I’m finally jumping back into it now that I’m actually in this space! I’ve always enjoyed gathering my family and friends for a good time, so I decided to start an events + design business, Luxe Level LLC. Thanks to my parents, creativity and community came naturally. After moving to a new city, I felt the urge to find women like me. Ones who were entrepreneurs and creatives. Read More>>
I started my business before we had any kids so my idea of balance has shifted over the years with the ebb and flow that naturally comes from having and raising young kids. I’m grateful that I’ve been able to welcome those shifts in my life and in my business. It has truly meant pulling back on client work when I’ve been swamped in diapers and night-time feedings and as the kids have entered more structured school schedules, I’ve pushed forward into new business offerings and upped my marketing efforts tremendously. My community is wonderful and allowed the shifts without too much heartache. Read More>>
