We had the good fortune of connecting with Katie Cooper and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Katie, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
As a mom I love that I have given my daughter the opportunity to see me build a business and chase after entrepreneurship. Getting to involve her in so many ways over the years has been so rewarding and is teaching her so many skills she wouldn’t normally have gotten at such a young age!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In Charlotte, NC I would take them To southend where we would walk to the farmers market for shopping and coffee. Afterwards, we would stroll the light rail and stop for lunch at Atherton mills. The night would end with great food and wine from one of the many amazing restaurants Charlotte has!!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family. It started with my moms seasoned pretzel recipe and turned into a covid at home business. My husband was such a help, helping me bag pretzels and fill orders! Now him and daughter help at pop up events or at Atlanta Market. My dad will make deliveries, it’s really become a family affair!!
