We had the good fortune of connecting with Janae Jenkins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Janae, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was to continue to do something that I love while helping others love their skin the holistic way! After dedicating considerable time, energy, and resources to create unique product formulas using natural ingredients that nature has bestowed upon us, I discovered the perfect blend to address various skin concerns. Once I personally witnessed the effectiveness of these formulations on my own skin, I felt a strong desire to share them with other women who could benefit from my products. Once you find something that you know works because you’re a walking testimony, it’s kind of hard not to share it with others!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart from others is my story and the fact that I genuinely care to help each of my customers out with whatever issue they’re dealing with. I listen to their story and can relate in some way. I take pride in hearing how I’ve helped their skin clear up and them gain more confidence from doing so. I’ve build bonds with my reoccurring customers and genuinely love what I do!I I’m most proud that we have reached all 50stated in the US and the drastic before and after pictures I’ve received over the years from customers amazed at how fa their skin has come from being consistent with my products. I got where I am by word of mouth and social media. No, it was not easy. There were, and still are, a ton of early days and long nights staying up to restock my products. I don’t have a team, so I’m the one creating the products, sending out marketing emails, posting on social media, updating my site, ordering more supplies. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it. My loving and supportive customers keep the battery in my back to keep going and pushing through every obstacle. Lessons I learned along the way are literally only the strongest survive, Being a business owner is HARD WORK, but whom much is given, much is required and God chose me for this. I’ve also learned to take a break when needed so I don’t burn myself out. My customers know I’m human and as long as I communicate transparently, they will understand. Also, networking is essential. You must connect with other like minded individuals to help each other get to the top. I’d like the world to know that my brand is made with passion and love. We take joy in seeing your skin heal and the glow it gives you along your journey. My narrative is an ever-changing journey that mirrors the evolution of my brand, and I am committed to a perpetual pursuit of creating top-tier, holistic products that promote the long-term health and vitality of my customers’ skin.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Hmmm, I don’t really get out like that. I love being a home body! When I do go out, it’s to go to the grocery store or take my son out to have some fun at a kids place.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shoutout Dr Sebi, for helping inspire me along my journey to overall healthy and wellness holistically, My journey started when I went to a routine checkup and the doctors gave me a rude awakening about how my health was slowly deteriorating. I knew it was time to take back my life, but I had to be extremely intention and dedicated to want to change, I started with my diet because you are what you eat. And with research, I stumbled across Dr. Sebi and the alkaline diet. Once I switched what I ate, I wanted to switch what I put on my skin on a daily basis. It seems like everything they sell us on the shelves had some type of chemical that was detrimental to your health overtime, in the ingredients. Thats how my journey began to creating my own product and taking back my health! I give God and Dr Sebi the credit for opening my eyes before it was too late.
