We had the good fortune of connecting with Isaac Helms and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isaac, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The idea was simple. To make a social impact. It was never about the business but the idea of changing live. After being abused as a child I always felt a tug to find a way to serve undervalued people and communities.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a finance professional. Primary working in advising and counseling now. I think the thing that sets me apart from others in truly wanting to get to know people on a personal level. I love when my clients get excited throughout our time together and truly take ownership. It wasn’t easy and I know I still have a long way to go but at the end of the day when my clients succeed its always been worth the risk. I packed my bags and the beginning of October in 2023 and moved to a city I knew nobody in to bet on myself and my career and it has paid off because of the faith I put in God and his plan for me. I’ve learned to always put God at the center of my life and allow him to guide and direct my steps. The thing I always want to encourage people about is that it’s never to late to start over or take a chance on yourself for something better.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am all about going to different museums and secretly think I am a professional chef. I enjoy cooking a nice home cook meal why talking life with people. I was raised that you always leave your front door open and cook extra food for anyone that might stop by. I enjoy being in the presence of people. I also love a good beer. Going from bar to bar on a weekend evening with friends has been another thing I have enjoyed.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout to Ryan Leak and Tim Tebow. Everything they do and the pursue christ first has always been a motivation for me to grow deeper in my faith and my career.
