We had the good fortune of connecting with Elijah Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elijah, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Personally just wanted to showcase my artist ability in different ways to the world. Whether it’s photography, clothes, or creative direction.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I think what sets me apart from others is that I’m very diverse in my artistic ability. I started off making clothes which further led to me doing graphic design and creating logos and brand concepts Overtime I got into film photography and creative directing for brands and music artist. Throughout time I’ve fell involve with creative directing and something that Im most proud of. I think just seeing my ideas come to life for my brand or helping others capture a vision is super cool.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would probably say Benny’s Pennello’s , it’s a pizza spot out here in Charlotte. They sell the big New York style slices and stay open late night. Most times me and my friends go there after a night in the city or we might have a meeting or something there. Pizza is one of my favorite foods and I rarely get pizza from anywhere else in Charlotte.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family. They have always been supportive of my decisions and ideas when its come to me doing the things I’ve wanted In life so shoutout to them ! Shoutout to my team also for always being honest with me and keeping me on my toes when it comes to releasing content and work!
