Inspiration is in every living thing. Everyday we wake is a miracle so every day there should be a new inspiration. I am a mom so I draw inspiration from my 13 year old daughter London Williams. I am a lover of the arts therefore I draw inspiration from music, dance, museums , sound, nature. It all started with a needle and thread. As cliché as that sounds, I always had a love for fashion.
I would study the game, different brands, styles, and designers. I didn’t know how to sew. So, I got behind a sewing machine and started practicing techniques. I learned how to utilize the machine and create pieces. I upcycled pieces out of my own closet to create new looks and styles. I wore my work, and people noticed. Since a child, I have always been infatuated with conservative men’s style and the sartorial lifestyle. I began my journey while I was serving in the Army during an overseas assignment to South Korea. I desperately needed to switch up my look, so I commissioned a few suits from a tailor there. As time progressed, I learned of the Ateliers of Savile Row, Milan, and Naples. As most of these places have price points that are unattainable to the middle-class American, I had an epiphany to build a business that caresses much about the garment quality as it does about the client relationship. In 2020, after apprenticing as a cutter (pattern maker) for over a decade, I opened my first storefront in the Historic District of Downtown Fayetteville, NC. Read more>>
