Meet Timberly K. Simmons | Entertainer & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Timberly K. Simmons and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Timberly K., can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process was this… Either stay in the rat race, keep losing jobs for no reason, risk allowing corporations to be in control of my finances, or take full control of my own income.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
In my craft, I bring a versatile skill set to the table. I excel in acting, singing, dancing, modeling, writing, producing, and directing. As an entrepreneur, I actively engage in multiple industries, setting myself apart through my diverse talents and contributions. I’m most proud of acting in multiple Tubi films and excited to create more in the near future.
Hard work, determination, and the help of people like Art Gilliard of Art Forms & Theatre Concepts and Felicia Rivers of Geechee One Films are what got me to where I am today professionally. It wasn’t an easy path. There were many obstacles to cross, but doing better after learning valuable life lessons is what helped me overcome my challenges.
I want the world to know that MuzikMill Enterprises is an advocate for Independent Entertainers across the world.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are too many who deserve to be recognized, but for the sake of time, I can highlight a few. Yah! The Most High! The Creator! All of my siblings, my God-Siblings, my nieces, my nephews, my Sorors of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority Inc, and Frat brothers of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity Inc deserve credit for always being real and motivating me!! My deceased grandmother Sarah V. Simmons deserves most of the credit even though she is gone. She is the first person to had put me in front of a live audience at age 4. My deceased sister Sheron Settles-Reed deserves credit for molding my voice and for breaking me into professional acting. My deceased father Sammie K. Simmons Sr deserves credit for my media background in film, photography, and Graphic Arts. I can still hear their voices empowering me to this day. My mother Ernestine L. Simmons is my main musical influence being a Minister of Music, Directress, and Pianist at several churches who has also played for several celebrity gospel artists. I have to credit Johnson C. Smith University International Institution of Sound Band and Choir organizations, Central Piedmont College, as well as the faculty and staff at Full Sail University.
If you’re reading this and I left you out, please forgive my head and know that my heart is in the right place.
