Meet Tiara Bryant | Owner & Lead Officiant, Royal Treatment With Tiara

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiara Bryant and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiara, how does your business help the community?
At Royal Treatment With Tiara, I believe the ceremony is the soul of the celebration. It’s the reason the planning, attire, and gathering of loved ones exist—the moment two people stand together and declare, “We choose each other.”
My work is about more than just officiating — it’s about honoring love, legacy, and lineage. As a Black woman in a male-dominated (and often white-dominated) field, my presence at the altar is intentional. Who better to lead, hold space, and nurture a couple through one of the most meaningful milestones of their life than someone who understands the power of representation, care, and storytelling?
I craft story-driven ceremonies that bring the spotlight back where it belongs — on the couple. Too often, wedding planning loses its magic under the weight of outside pressures: the wedding party’s preferences, family expectations, and guest experience. My ceremonies gently remove that noise and recenter the day on the two people actually getting married.
Every step of my process is holistic and heart-centered. In every meeting, I guide couples through a gratitude check-in — an intentional pause to reflect on the journey, to stand in the moment, and to appreciate not just the wedding day, but the love story that led them there. On the wedding day itself, we bring that awareness and thankfulness into the ceremony, creating not just an event, but a sacred, grounding experience they will carry forever.
Through this work, I’m not only celebrating marriages — I’m helping to shift the wedding narrative back to where it belongs.
What should our readers know about your business?
Royal Treatment With Tiara was born from one simple belief: the ceremony is the soul of the wedding day. It’s not filler before the reception — it’s the moment everything else leads up to.
What sets me apart is my approach. I take couples on a journey — one that honors their love, legacy, and lineage. Every Royal Treatment ceremony is story-driven, centering the couple in a world where wedding planning often pulls the focus in every other direction. From gratitude check-ins in every meeting to bringing awareness and presence into the ceremony itself, I help couples slow down, soak it in, and remember exactly why they’re there — to choose each other, fully and forever.
I’m most proud of the way my couples feel seen, celebrated, and cared for. They don’t just walk away married; they walk away feeling like royalty. That’s not just my brand — that’s my calling. This approach has earned consistent five-star reviews, repeat referrals from planners and photographers, and frequent invitations to bring an officiant presence to styled shoots.
Getting here wasn’t easy. I started with nothing but my voice, my vision, and the faith to believe it could work. I’ve had to learn to navigate an industry that wasn’t built with people who look like me in mind, push through slow seasons, and invest in my own growth even when it was uncomfortable. The challenges taught me that perseverance and authenticity are non-negotiable.
The biggest lesson? You can’t fake heart. People remember how you made them feel long after they’ve forgotten the details. That’s why my brand will always be about more than pretty vows — it’s about creating a space where love, gratitude, and connection take center stage.
If the world remembers anything about me and Royal Treatment With Tiara, I want it to be this: I’m here to make sure the most important part of your wedding day feels as magical as it truly is.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week, we’d keep it balanced — a little bit of fun, a little bit of food, and a whole lot of moments worth remembering.
Day 1 – Welcome Vibes
We’d start with a casual rooftop happy hour — New Brunswick has a few spots where you can sip something good and watch the sunset over the city. It’s the perfect way to unwind from travel and set the tone for the week.
Day 2 – Foodie Adventures
Brunch is non-negotiable. I’d take them to a local favorite for a decadent plate of chicken and waffles or something equally indulgent. Dinner? We’d head to an authentic Italian spot in town or hop over to Jersey City for a foodie tour.
Day 3 – Game Night Out
We’d hit a bowling alley — bonus points if they’ve got neon lights and a good playlist. Add in a round of air hockey or arcade games and it’s instant nostalgia with a competitive twist.
Day 4 – Explore the Shore
We’d spend the day at the Jersey Shore — boardwalk fries, saltwater taffy, and a ride on the Ferris wheel before heading back. It’s a Jersey rite of passage.
Day 5 – Arts & Culture
A trip to the Stress Factory for a live comedy show or a local art exhibit would give us that creative spark. We’d grab coffee at a cozy café and just people-watch.
Day 6 – Self-Care Day
Spa treatments in the morning, mani-pedis in the afternoon, and maybe a rooftop dinner in the evening. Because balance is everything.
Day 7 – Full-Circle Farewell
We’d end with a gratitude walk along the Raritan River and a tour of RU, reflecting on the week before one last shared meal.
New Brunswick may not be the biggest city, but with good company, the right playlist, and a little local flavor, you can have a week full of laughter, connection, and memories worth keeping.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to give my biggest shoutout to my parents. From the time I was a child with big ideas and even bigger dreams, they’ve always been right there — whether they agreed with my vision 100% or were only halfway sure what I was getting myself into. They made sure I knew I had a safety net, a place to land if I fell, and the encouragement to keep leaping anyway.
That kind of unwavering belief is priceless. Knowing someone is in your corner no matter how wild the dream, how unconventional the path, or how ambitious the goal… that’s the kind of love and support that makes you fearless. My parents didn’t just raise me — they raised someone who believes she can do anything she sets her mind to.
That foundation is exactly why Royal Treatment With Tiara exists today — because I had the courage to step into my calling, create a business rooted in love and storytelling, and trust that even the boldest dreams are worth chasing. For that, I’m forever grateful.
