Hi Taura, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I embarked on the journey of starting my business, I was driven by a deep passion to empower women through the transformative power of beauty. I believe that every woman possesses a unique radiance that, when acknowledged and enhanced, can empower her to conquer the world with confidence.

One of the key pillars of my thought process was the commitment to providing honest feedback. In a world often filled with unrealistic beauty standards, I wanted to create a space where women could receive genuine and constructive feedback about their unique beauty. Honesty, coupled with positivity, is a powerful tool for personal growth and self-love.

Moreover, I envisioned my business as more than just a beauty venture. It was about pouring into women—nurturing their self-esteem, boosting their confidence, and fostering a sense of empowerment. I wanted to go beyond the surface level of beauty and create an environment that celebrated the strength, resilience, and beauty that every woman possesses.

Being a safe place for vulnerability was another crucial aspect of my business vision. I recognized that true empowerment comes when women feel safe to be their authentic selves. In a society that often pressures individuals to conform, I aimed to establish a sanctuary where women could express their vulnerabilities without judgment. This, I believe, is a fundamental step toward building genuine connections and fostering a community that uplifts one another.

In essence, my business is not just about beauty; it’s about creating an experience that empowers, uplifts, and celebrates women. By providing honest feedback, pouring into women, and offering a safe space for vulnerability, I aspire to contribute to a world where every woman can embrace her unique beauty and walk through life with confidence and authenticity

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My professional journey has been a mix of highs and lows. Without a mentor or a clear roadmap, I relied on research, took risks, and built a supportive network. It wasn’t easy—I faced setbacks, considered quitting, and even rebranded. But through it all, I learned the power of resilience.

What defines my story is authenticity. I’ve fallen many times, but each time, I’ve gotten up stronger. I want people to know that success doesn’t come without doubts and challenges. My brand is a tribute to being true to oneself. I encourage everyone to embrace their uniqueness; there’s a goddess in all of us. Life may not have a blueprint, but being resilient and authentic can lead to a fulfilling journey.

In my view, Raleigh, NC offers a vibrant array of fun, interesting, and exciting experiences. Here are some highlights:
