Meet Stella Miller | Model & Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stella Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stella, how do you think about risk?
When I was first diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, I was unable to play sports anymore. This made a huge impact on my life as sports were my whole identity. When I first started modeling, I knew nothing about it. Nobody I knew had experience in modeling, inducing my family members. Coming into the game blind, not knowing anything, was a huge risk for me. I was not sure if I was going to like modeling or be successful. I decided to keep going pursuing my modeling career and have had some successful moments along the way. With taking this risk, I learned, change can be hard but I should not let myself down and put my best foot forward.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others is my drive. I want to be the best version of myself and so much more. The first time I ever modeled was at a photoshoot for my digitals. As soon as I got my digitals, I applied for many more photoshoots, agencies, fashion weeks, and more. I walked my ever first fashion week in July of 2023, Miami Swim Week. Since then I walked in New York Fashion Week in September and Feburary and Spartanburg Fashion Week in October. Modeling was completely new to me when I first started, I did not know what to do or how to walk. From all the medicines, pain, and doctors appointments, modeling was a way I could embrace my true self. I would like the world to know success does not come naturally, you create it. No matter what challenges are thrown your way, you can overcome them and achieve obstacles in any way, shape, or form.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some restaurants I would take my friend if they visited North Myrtle Beach, SC, for a week are Taco Mundo; an easygoing outpost that offers Mexican standards from tacos to fajitas. Crave Italian Oven & Bar; an old world vibe serving wood-fired pizza, Italian Mains, & homemade bread. Murphy’s Bar & Grill; a bar-style restaurant serving American favorites, including live music. Some places I would take them to are Barefoot Landing; retail & entertainment village around a lake with restaurants, a theater, visitor center & carousel. The Market Common; Storefront shops open into an enclosed area with dining, movies, bowling, bike rentals, & a theatre. Some exciting places I would take a friend are one of the 15 miniature golf courses, the Alabama theatre, 810 Billiards & Bowling, and Alligator Adventure. These are some of my favorite spots in North Myrtle & Myrtle Beach where you are guaranteed to have fun!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my Mom. Through thick and thin she has always been there for me. From shot nights to being my #1 fan while I’m on the runway, she has always been so supportive of me. She is my best friend, role model, mentor, and mom. I would like to give her recognition as without her, I would not be where I am today.
