When asked about the inspiration behind founding The McKiever Group Creative Company, the response reveals a deep-rooted commitment to making a meaningful impact and fostering intentional growth. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Starting The McKiever Group Creative Company was born out of a deep passion for empowering individuals and organizations to lead authentically and inclusively. I saw a gap in leadership development that needed to be filled, and I believed that by embracing cultural inclusion and lived experiences, we could drive transformative change.

As for showing my best friend around the area, I’d make sure they experience the vibrant culture and delicious cuisine of the Triad. We’d start with some local eats at gems like Bistro 1605, Sammy G’s, Elm St. Café, Out West, and Sticks and Stones. For a night out, the Social District in High Point offers a fantastic atmosphere, with options like Stock + Grain Food Assembly Hall and nearby bars, not to mention Nomad Wine.

Supporting local businesses is important to me, so we’d explore Black women-owned businesses like Queen Coffee Bean, Fiber Space, Office Batch, and Gemini Transitions Spa. And since we have such beautiful greenways, we’d take a leisurely walk to unwind. To satisfy our sweet tooth, Dot and Pearl at the Market would be the perfect dessert destination – their cake is unrivaled!

I would shout out my support system in my family and friends who believe in my vision. I couldn’t do this without them!
