We had the good fortune of connecting with sherry Scott and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi sherry, what do you want people to remember about you?
I would love to have my legacy be, that I was a kind, caring, passionate person, believing in being creative, as well as supporting children and the care of children. My family is always first before anyone and anything and that being said, hoping that my children and grandchildren have the same legacy.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am interior designer for a high-end furniture store, assist my husband with his construction company and in my spare time I founded and run a children’s charity to assist families with items they need for children. I love interior design and the artistic ability to design spaces for client when they come in with an idea that I make that idea real. The same suits for my charity that people come in having not much of anything and we filled their car with toys, books, games, drawing supplies, baby items, and anything else they need. Both designing and charity makes me happy..

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
if I wanted to show somebody the best time ever, I would think about what they liked to do because I enjoy just about anything and always up for something new when someone comes to visit I like to go to my favorite wineries, favorite restaurants, see a band, go for a hike, go shopping at thrift stores or just sit at the lake and enjoy the view.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I owe my success to my husband, Gus. Without his ideas, support, compassion, and always being behind me 110% to do what I wanna do in life. He gives me the drive and energy to move forward with my dreams.
