We had the good fortune of connecting with Sherece Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sherece, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I started Dr, PABS Pineapple is a Berry to empower individuals to achieve optimal health and well-being through
high-quality, science-backed vitamin supplements. As a non-consumer of gelatin products I am committed to offering alternatives that align with my personal values and cater to a diverse audience. Dr. PABS represents my commitment to creating a brighter, healthier future for everyone, with my breakout product focusing on the health of children. Witnessing my grandmother struggle with diabetes has deeply inspired me to make a positive change in the world of health and wellness.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A week long trip with my best friend would start on Sunday Funday!
Sunday at 1pm we have reservation to a party brunch. I am not a drinker but she is, we will have eggs benedict, salmon eggs benadict for me, ham eggs benedict for her with a pitcher of mimosa. The music will be a mix between, hip-hop, reggae, old school r&b and afro beats. We are dressed summery with flat sandals so that we can dance comfortably. Brunch is over at 7pm. We will grab a jumbo slice of pizza in Adams Morgan, which would be nostalgic and reminiscent of our college days.

Monday we will workout then hit the spa for a relaxing reflexology massage.
Monday evening we will have Pho and catch a movie at the theater.

Tuesday we would volunteer with A Wider Circle, we would help sort through donations and stock showrooms. This is an organization that furnishes homes for families who are starting out, often leaving situations like homelessness or domestic abuse.

Wednesday after a workout or a walk around the neighborhood, we would get a manicure and pedicure. I would cook dinner for the both if us and catch a comedy show.

Thursday we would find a grown and sexy lounge. We will get dolled up and head out to “Paint the town red”.

Friday between sleeping in, and lounging around we would most likely go to the Howard University Bookstore to pick up something to read and some new Howard hoodies and or sweatshirts.

Saturday we might do a little shopping with a visit to a mall. She loves shoes.

Sunday we might catch an early church service on T.V. while she packs for the airport.
Then I sadly will drop her off, and watch her fly away.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Parents were hard working immigrants and my grandmother who I spent a lot of time with, are the root of my inspiration. My grandmother was the one that instilled faith in me, and without the love of God. I do not know where I would be today. Because of my grandmother I knew that I was capable of all things. I constantly reflect on the moments I had with my grandmother. I reflect on the times I would see her struggle with her diabetes, then she developed high blood pressure and struggled with weight gain from the medications she was administered by Doctors. The pain of not having her with me today has turned into my passion for health. My grandmother would remind me as a child “prevention is better than a cure” with that foresight, I strive to create a brighter, healthier future for everyone through preventive health measures and education.
