Hi Shawn, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind our company’s success is to maintain discipline in our field. Since we cater to the international market. We commit ourselves to engage with our guests, introduce them to the diversity of all cultures and bring innovative ideas for our community to enjoy.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Topwave Entertainment Marketing & Event Planning LLC is an entertainment company that thrives on creating memorable experiences for our community. We love to give back through fundraisers, donations and networking with local organizations to create such experiences. As a disc jockey I enjoyed creating good energy in the spaces around me. I decided to collaborate with my business partner Tyrone to expand the vision. With us being in two states it does come with its challenges. Our biggest lesson is to never give up on your vision or dream. That one “Yes” makes all those “Nos”seem so minuscule.
What makes us different from the others is that we pay attention to detail. We want guest to notice the diversity in North Carolina no matter what background you come from. We always want people to remember that we stand strong behind our culture.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The Beehive Bar and Lounge & French Quarter for nightlife activities.
Scrambled Restaurant for breakfast.
Freeman’s Pub or Jake’s Billiards for socializing
Lake Norman in Charlotte for outdoor activities.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my business partner Tyrone, our administrative assistant & marketing coordinators. Lastly, the most important people our supporters that attend our events. We would be nothing without them.
