We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachel Abi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rachel, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Care for clients.

No matter what your business, if you focus on loving your clients where they are and helping them by speaking to their pain and joys.

The reason I have been able to successfully have business for over a decade is because my focus was on loving my clients. Thinking about where they are, what they need, what questions they have, addressing how to help their pain points and help them get to what they want.

This priciple literally works for any brand and any business.

To be a success you must fall in love with loving your clients and take the time to really think about their life. What they would say, what they feel, what they think about, what they love, what they hope for and help them go from where they are to where they want to be!

If you invest the time to really get to know this:

marketing, sales, returning customers… you name it becomes natural and simple!

What should our readers know about your business?
Awkward and uncomfortable. That’s how I was and felt on camera. I never wanted people to feel that way on their wedding day. I set out to make it possible that no matter who you are you can feel like photogenic and a rockstar on camera for your wedding day.

I spent over a decade studying posing, communication and the art of photography to come to a place of being able to make every couple that comes in front of my camera forget we are taking pictures but instead are good friends hanging out and in the end they come out with editorial storytelling art for their home!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Raleigh is an amazing cross between country town and a city vibes. There is so much space still for roaming and adventuring but there is almost always something new to do. Whether you drink or prefer no, there are so many amazing spots to grab a cocktail/mocktail in completely unique esthetic. Some of the best things are the festivals that come new with each season!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
So many people have helped me along the journey but Daniah Koujak a relator in Greensboro area has shown me a great deal in showing up for your clients, creating branding, marketing etc. She has shown what being persistent looks like in application of both personal life and professional!
