Hi Lyss, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Through my pieces, I aim to evoke an aesthetic and emotional resonance with my audience, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of my surroundings and the intimate intricacies of the human experience. My decision to establish my own business stemmed from a desire to share my art with the world, to provide a deeply personal and authentic experience for my clients, and to fulfill my artistic vision in a tangible and meaningful way.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I draw inspiration from the vibrant community around me to create unique and one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry. With a creative and meticulous eye, I craft each piece with consistent quality and attention to detail, ensuring that my jewelry not only stands out but speaks to the individual who wears it. My passion for creating wearable art is evident in every piece, with a seamless blend of traditional techniques and innovative design. Through my art, I seek to inspire and uplift others, inviting them to find their own beauty and uniqueness. With each handmade piece, I hope to leave a lasting impression on both the wearer and the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There’s so much to do in the triangle! All the museums Raleigh and Durham have to offer are a must. Next, we’d have a fun night out at The Fruit in Durham. The next day, picnic at Jordan lake. Makers Markets are always happening so we’d definitely find a few and go to them! And lastly, we’d spend out last day leisurely at the flea market, Crabtree Valley Mall and South Point Mall.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, my mom has been my unwavering backbone throughout my creative journey; it is without the utmost gratitude that I dedicate my success and recognition to her. I’d also like to thank my loyal clientele, without their support, my artistic pursuit would not be possible.
