Meet Keyetta Pettiford | Truck Driver

We had the good fortune of connecting with Keyetta Pettiford and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Keyetta, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
As an entrepreneur and a parent, I believe that the most important thing I’ve done for my children is providing them with a strong foundation of values and principles. I have instilled in them the importance of hard work, perseverance, and integrity. I believe that these qualities are essential for success not only in business but also in life. I have prioritized spending quality time with my children and being actively involved in their lives. I have made an effort to create a loving and supportive environment where they feel safe to express themselves and share their thoughts and feelings. I believe that the impact I have had on my children as a parent is reflected in their character, values, and aspirations. By being a positive role model and providing them with guidance and support, I hope to have equipped them with the tools they need to navigate the challenges of life and achieve their own version of success.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Some things that sets me apart from others is my Exceptional Customer Service I prioritize customer satisfaction and go above and beyond to meet their needs, I’m proud of the positive feedback and long-term relationships I have built with my clients. I have a strong focus on safety and compliance with regulations. As of today I’m still learning! I’ve never stopped learning. In this industry you need all the knowledge you can get. It was not easy but I stepped on faith and believed in myself to do whatever I need to do to get to the next level! Some lessons I’ve learned along the way is Failure is a natural part of the entrepreneurial journey. It’s important to view failures as learning opportunities and not be discouraged by them. Embrace failure, learn from your mistakes, and use them to grow and improve. I also learned you need to be adaptable. Be open to change, pivot when necessary, and stay ahead of market trends to remain competitive. Lastly Surround yourself with the Right team. Surround yourself with talented individuals who share your vision and complement your skills.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes I would like to shout out Cortez Bass and The Durham MFA.
