Meet Kayla Simone | Entrepreneur & Creative

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kayla Simone and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kayla, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
Hi, thanks for having me. I would say one of the most important lessons I’ve learned is to just keep going. Be adaptive to change and work with what you have. It’s okay to take a break and go back to the drawing board. Reset, & readjust as many times as you need to, but don’t quit. Even if you have to pivot into something different, keep it pushing. Never give up on yourself, no matter what.
What should our readers know about your business?
I want readers to know my brand is built off authenticity and my own identity. I don’t make my brand look like anyone else’s. It’s all me and my vision. I don’t rush, compare, and I take my time. Building piece by piece. I want anyone that comes across my brand to know I take pride in it. I want your experience to be a good one so I’m always striving to make it better in anyway I can. I care about my customers and I’m always willing to make them happy because they could’ve spent their money with anyone else and they chose me. It’s not about money with me. I genuinely enjoy creating, building my own brand, providing high quality products, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my bestfriend was in the area. We would go to Charlotte. We would go to the spa at Rock Barn to relax and unwind. Self care is always a necessity. We would then go to some nice upscale restaurants with an aesthetic vibe such as Steak 48, STK, Bonnie and Clyde’s, RH rooftop. Also check out a popular spot called Tattoos and Booz. It’s a popular brunch spot with good music and food, you can also get a tattoo as well! Anything with good vibes and good food is our go to!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost I would like to thank God, God deserves all the glory and I wouldn’t have made it this far without him. I would like to thank all my supporters, near and far. It took one order from a stranger to start my brand. I also would like to thank you guys, here at shoutout interviews for reaching out and giving me an opportunity to share my story! Thankful for it all, truly
