We had the good fortune of connecting with Johnny Niko and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Johnny, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
The way I’ve treated anything of it still feel good to pursue it on any level the moment it doesn’t it’s ok to take a break and try again later.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Hmm my willingness to step out of the mother freaking box or just blow that stuff up lol. In order to succeed you have to be yourself someone can tell if your showing up authentically because when you do people tend to gravitate towards your glow. So be yourself you’ll be saving yourself a lot of headache. Do what you want to do. Tell people when your ready. People sometimes have a tendency to put their limitations on to others. I want the world to know I see what you doing over there. Whether or not they see it or not they will over time. In the meantime just enjoy the process.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Hmm… It would depend on where we are to be honest. If we in Durham though bruh we are going to boxcar everyday period lol. Durham Central Park there is usually something to do down there. If you go to down to Boxcar and ask them to bring smash bros back lol. I’m not going to give it all away because everyone has their own kind of vibe and but my homies… probably going to check out a smoke shop, go to Boxcar, the skatepark and probably sushi later.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Hmm… If I had to keep it 111%… I would have to give it up to the universe to be honest. Because everyone the universe has put along my path was a lesson on some level. A mentor, student, lover and so on.
