Meet Jasmine Johnson | Owner, Therapist & Mindset Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine, what is the most important factor behind your success?
My success has been deeply rooted in my unwavering faith in the Lord and belief in the unseen. This faith has been a constant source of motivation, driving my hunger to learn and grow. Remaining humble and open-minded has been instrumental in my journey, enabling me to continually evolve. Moreover, my passion for serving others and my genuine care for people have played a pivotal role in my achievements, garnering respect and support along the way.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Imprints By Jazz is a unique place where individuals can work on overcoming the imprints that life and circumstances have left on them. What sets us apart is that we’re guided by Christ, founded on biblical principles, and employ a person-centered approach. Our aim is to help individuals redefine, reshape, and reignite the imprints of their past, guiding them toward a positive hope for their future.
I’m incredibly excited about being a witness to the miracles that God performs and seeing lives transformed, healed, and filled with renewed belief. My journey in the business world has been fueled by faith, learning from both others and my own mistakes, and the ability to adapt and adjust when necessary. Serving the community around me and having a heart for people, much like Jesus, has been a key factor in the success of IBJ.
It hasn’t been an easy journey, but it has certainly been worth it. Hearing the testimonies and witnessing the positive transformations in our clients is incredibly rewarding. Along the way, I’ve learned the importance of balance, setting boundaries, and understanding that just because I’m good at something, it doesn’t mean I’m obligated to do all the work. Learning to say “no” when needed has brought me a lot of peace.
What I want the world to know is that Imprints By Jazz is here to provide solutions and bridge the gap between mental health and faith. These two aspects can coexist harmoniously, maximizing each person’s ability on their journey to wholeness, in alignment with 3 John 1:2: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to several individuals, groups, and organizations that have been instrumental in my journey. First and foremost, I want to recognize God for providing me with guidance and strength. My family, friends, and colleagues have been a constant source of support and encouragement, pushing me to achieve my goals.
I’d also like to acknowledge the organizations that have made a significant impact on my life, such as “I Am ME Girls,” which has allowed me to make meaningful contributions. Word of God Fellowship Church has been a valuable partner in my community outreach and development efforts.
My therapist, whose identity I won’t disclose, has been a crucial source of support and encouragement throughout my journey. Additionally, the colleagues I’ve worked with have played a vital role in pushing each other to grow, increasing our impact, skills, and knowledge along the way.
Last but not least, my children have been one of my biggest driving forces. Despite going through a divorce and dealing with the challenges of COVID during the launch of my business, I’m grateful for every trial that has presented opportunities for my personal growth.
