We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmin Cobb and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmin, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success would have to be consistency. If I wasn’t able to progressively shoot, edit, and keep grinding, I wouldn’t be where I am now.

What should our readers know about your business?
I started from rock-bottom with zero clients when I was 16 years old. I went from using my friends in the neighborhood to take photos, to have my own Studio and shooting new people every single day. It was definitely a learning process and I’ve learned many new things along the process that were easy to overcome. I learned to not compare myself to others and to just follow my own path.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had a friend come in town, I would take them uptown Charlotte to a few restaurants or bars that show the city skyline! I would also show them around the important buildings in the city, such as the Panther Stadium, the baseball field or the spectrum center. There are a ton of attractions, such as Carowinds, go karting, and more!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
when I was 15 years old my mom helped me out by helping me buy my first camera and set me for success. I was very young, but still working at the time and my mom helped me purchase my first camera.
