We had the good fortune of connecting with Ebonie Alston-Jenkins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ebonie, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor to me as far as the success of our business is customer care. Notice I say customer care not customer service. We care about the quality of service each of our customers receive. Many times it’s the first time our guest are booking a party bus and they want details as to what to expect, what can be done, and more. My job is to make this effortlessly and not rush them off. Once I pass them on to their driver for their event I want them to receive the same care and attention that I have personally shown. Our name is stamped on this so it’s vital that we demonstrate care throughout their total experience.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We at ENT Party Bus LLC are one of many party bus companies in the Raleigh/Durham area. Our buses cater to smaller groups where people may have 15 or less in their party. Which in many cases works great for staying together to go out for dinner or bar hopping. I’m excited that we now have 2 buses to offer our clients. During this journey we have realized that many people want their kids to have a party bus experience where they can celebrate with bright LED lights and mirrored ceilings! Then there are groups that are looking for more of an “adult” party with the lights, music, and alcohol. So we now have a bus with a bar that the customer gets to fill with their choices of beverages and can celebrate throughout the night!

There have truly been lessons learned along the way. Things from vehicle maintenance to cultural differences. You have to maintain a positive mindset and keep a focus on your expected outcome. Things may have some challenges but when they come just remain faithful and look for the lesson in it over the situation and how it looks.

In this business I have learned to value other businesses that may not be a party bus at all but I can assure that they have had some challenges. There are things that are completely out of your control that you simply have to go through. Address it, get it rectified and put something in place to potentially avoid it happening again.
I would also suggest partnering with other business similar to your own. I don’t see these other party bus companies as competitors at all. We typically have the same objective. As for ENT Party Bus LLC we hope that when people communicate with us they are comfortable and confident that we will provide what we say.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We have had the pleasure of escorting our guest to a good variety of places in the Triangle area. I almost hate to start naming because I know I will leave some out but I must say “The Slush” in downtown Durham has been a fav because their they offer a designated time where minors can have a “Virgin” slushy and play the games and vibe they offer. Then there are also adult beverages available and games for adults to enjoy during their time. While there are a lot more options available in the downtown area including Annex, GoJos, Smoking Bull Cigar Lounge, and Pickleback 2. Downtown Raleigh has a large number of bar, restaurants, and night clubs along Glenwood Avenue. North Hills is another great area to spend a night out with your friends and family.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There’s no way I could have been successful over the past five plus years without my team. My husband, Chad Jenkins, my dad/lead driver Toney Conyers, and friend Pete Cameron has made this business run as well as it has. They keep things updated on the buses, the maintenance, and giving our customers that feeling of importance during their time with us.
