Meet Dr. Trish Leigh | Brain Health & Sex Addiction Recovery Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Trish Leigh and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr. Trish, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have helped people with ADHD and anxiety using advanced technology called QEEG brain mapping and neurofeedback for many years.
When I learned about the dangers of explicit matter and screen excess on brain health I was called to help people leave unhealthy screen time and reset the pleasure pathways in their brain back to the real world.
I’m doing so I have helped millions of people around the world, heal their brains and their relationships away from explicit matter and excessive screen time. I write the story of this journey in my book, Mind Over Explicit Matter.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am fortunate to be considered the top most thought leader in the area of brain health regulation, especially as it regards to screen addictions.
In my business, Dr. Trish Leigh & Co. my team and I use online technology to work with people all over the world.
using my proprietary app my clients can perform their own QEEG Brain Map at home and I am able to review it in my online portal. Then we get on a Zoom meeting so I can review the findings. After that, I am able to set individualized Neurofeedback protocols in the app. So that a person can do “workouts for their brain” and in doing so improve the way their brain functions so they can feel and perform better. In this way, I help people leave screen addictions, alleviate erectile dysfunction, repair their relationships, and reach their full potential.
Yes, I know it sounds grandiose, but it is true. Using neuroscience and advanced technology. It’s easier than ever for people to move forward in achieving their authentic best life.
I also provide coaching in a digital format and personal coaching to give people the techniques, tools, strategies, and support they need.
In terms of challenges, yes, it has taken me a decade to create an implement this high-level formula for success. But I am thrilled to be in the position that I am to help so many people worldwide not only through my business, but also through my book, Mind Over Explicit Matter, which is the blueprint of my formula that people can use at home.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
my best friend and I actually do the following things.
Charleston, South Carolina is one of the most amazing places in the country the rich history, delicious food, beautiful weather, and fun shopping makes it a lovely place to go for a long weekend.
When we bring our many kids we will go to Myrtle Beach for the higher key entertainment factor like medieval times, mini golf, and the Boardwalk, of course.
Hilton head Island is another personal favorite. In the low country, the beaches are amazingly beautiful for long walks and beautiful sunrises.
When I am at home in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, we love to attend football and basketball games at the university and enjoy jaunts the mountains.
The Carolinas really an amazing place to live.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
in my book, Mind Over Explicit Matter, I write of the journey of a friend I referred to his Sam, not his real name.
Sam is the reason I dove into explicit matter. As his whole world began to collapse around him because he could not stop consuming it I was able to help him heal his brain, repair his relationship, increase his productivity and focus so he could move forward to thrive.
Addiction keeps people stuck in survival mode. I have developed a formula based upon my experience with Sam to help people release themselves from trauma, underlying anxiety, and despair to move forward toward their full potential. Rewiring their brains to perform optimally is key to this as Sam found out.
