Meet Diamond Anae | Digital creator and Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Diamond Anae and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diamond, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When it came to starting my own business I had to first write down each idea I brainstormed. I want to create a business in combination of everything that the face of who I am today as a creator. Whether it was artwork, music ,literature, storytelling, apparel and comedy, it was my main goal to tie it into one big knot. I love music , I love being an animal caregiver, I love creativity and so many other things. I just needed a vision on what I wanted to do with it. I wanted to give myself the proper knowledge on top of my disability.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is authentic based on how I expressed my disability through strengths and stories.Throughout the battles I have and faced times where I would shed tears, and literally let almost any negative words get to me when it came to my disability. There were a lot of emotions with anger but mainly crying and bearing through every headache. I was trying to outshine from my disability and yet to use my creativity to show the world who I really am.

I like the music but I was sad that I couldn’t read notes fast enough but, yet I read notes by sound. I would just remix the sounds I heard on a piano and turned it into chords or music of my own. I’ve learned to not be afraid to show how creative I really am. I was shy and to actually listening to myself after recording from playing , and yet people were telling me that sound beautiful and tell me that don’t stop keep playing. I thought they were joking but they were being dead serious. After that I just started exploring ways where I can just post my recordings for free and sell it. It was all about getting into the trend and trying to match up my cards with this card. I did that with everything just trying to build up and turn it into success.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit me, most likely we will catch a flight somewhere just not here. We would probably go out to eat and go back to Myrtle Beach South Carolina. That place is so beautiful and amazing. The houses looked gorgeous near the beaches and there’s his place called crazy Masons. That place has the most wonderful milkshakes that are like a ginormous sugar Rush. They are really good that’s for sure. You can literally make your own outfit empty jar and putting probably some cake at the bottom icing on top and ice cream then cheesecake or whatever you can think of. The milkshakes are topped off with a slice of cake or a pie.

If not Myrtle beach, you might take a getaway trip to Florida. We both love to travel but we both are working.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a huge shout out to my friend James known as JP including Cassie who is also known as Adair for helping me recognize myself spiritually. Overall I want to give a big shout out to myself and God because without him I wouldn’t be where I am today and have the courage to keep moving forward.
