Meet Destiny Miller

We had the good fortune of connecting with Destiny Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Destiny, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Level Up Sis started as just a dream, but it quickly became my reality. I was scared at first, but deep down, I knew my brand had the power to impact women around the world.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My career has been a journey of growth, resilience, and purpose. I currently work full-time in retail management, where I lead teams, drive performance, and create positive in-store experiences. At the same time, I’m one of the founders of Level Up Sis, a brand and movement designed to inspire, empower, and educate women on how to level up in life.
What sets me apart is my ability to balance multiple roles, as a mother, leader, and entrepreneur without losing sight of my vision. It hasn’t always been easy but I knew giving up wasn’t an option. There were seasons where I had to push through self-doubt, time constraints, and financial limitations, but I’ve always believed in the bigger picture. I knew that if I kept going, my work would eventually inspire other women to believe in themselves, too.
One of the things I’m most proud of is taking the leap of faith to start Level Up Sis. What started as a dream fueled by personal struggles and finding my true purpose has now become a platform that uplifts women who are on their own journey to becoming the best version of themselves.
It wasn’t easy getting here. There were moments I questioned everything. But I kept the faith, overcame challenges by staying grounded in my purpose, staying consistent even when results were slow, and surrounding myself with people who reminded me of who I was when I forgot. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that growth is uncomfortable, but necessary and you have to trust the process and not rush it.
What I want the world to know is that Level Up Sis isn’t just a brand, it’s a movement. It’s about showing up as your authentic self, owning your journey, and giving yourself permission to Level Up unapologetically.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
