Meet Dennis Hering | Leadership Speaker and Business Mentor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dennis Hering and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dennis, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The reason we started Hering Legacy Group was two fold:
1. We believe in making an impact for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and felt as thought the business space wasn’t a big focus for a lot of churches.
2. We wanted to use our passions and skillsets to impact as many people as possible which is why we offer mentorship to other aspiring entrepreneurs who need guidance on their journey, as well as golf instruction as so many people want to get instruction but don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars for lessons.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are a part of a mentorship group that, through a vetting/selection process, helps individuals and couples create their own business. We pride ourselves in helping people first become debt free through proper budgeting and then ultimately becoming financially independent through business mentorship with a more wholistic approach(relationships, life, family, faith, etc). At the end of the day, we don’t want to see people just make a lot of money, but rather live a wholistically successful life. That’s why we offer wholistic mentorship, so that we can coach people in business, and help them create results in life they desire.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If you came to Raleigh, NC for a week, here is a list of places I would take you: The Pit – NC BBQ restaurant
Golf Shack – similar to Top Golf
Downtowns – get to experience the local downtown strips and their cultures
Golf Courses – Raleigh and Pinehurst
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a specific shoutout to 7 Eleven Media who is the main online business manager for Hering Legacy Group. The agency was started by my friend Isaac whom I have known for several years. His business aligns with the values of ours and we grateful for all the ways they have served us.
I also want to give a shoutout to Mon Christian Gifts(retail store in the Crabtree Mall in Raleigh), as they have been an incredible sponsor for our podcast “3D Leadership Podcast” which is dedicated to teaching practical universal leadership principles and application found in the Bible.
