Meet David Sauer | Co-Founder/Owner of Game Show Battle Rooms

We had the good fortune of connecting with David Sauer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My fellow co-founder, Kevin Letnes, and I were grinding in the corporate world for awhile and just knew that wasn’t the long term path for us. We had a lot of creativity and ideas about how we would run a company if we were leading it. It was a gut feeling ultimately that we had. Our parents were both entrepreneurial so it was in our blood apparently.

What should our readers know about your business?
Game Show Battle Rooms is currently the largest and most highly rated game show experience for everyone to enjoy. We have immersive game show arenas, professional stage lighting, and dedicated game show hosts who facilitate a super fun 1 hour game show experience for groups of 8-64+. It’s especially fun for friend or family outings, birthday parties of all ages, and team-building groups for corporate or any size company or team. We currently have 15 locations across the country and average 5 out of 5 stars on Google for every location. We are also the original game show experience company in terms of turning it into a concept like this. We now have a few competitors that have tried to imitate us, but if you want the most fun and entertaining experience visit one of our locations at Game Show Battle Rooms. We have the largest props, most unforgettable game show games and most entertaining hosts for your groups.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The true origin story of Game Show Battle Rooms definitely can be traced back to my parents. Shoutout to Curt and Susan! They always fostered a sense of creativity in me, and encouraged me to dabble in anything that sparked my interest, whether that was art, sports, or any topic. They owned a small bar/restaurant for 36 years so I saw first hand how they took care of their staff, the building, the product, the experience, and took great pride in being the best bar in our small town. They took great care of each and every customer’s experience, and that is what we do at Game Show Battle Rooms but just game shows instead of food and drinks. Before they walked into the store they would always pick up any tiny piece of garbage if it was around the sidewalk or by the entrance, always taking care of even the small details.
