Hi Courtney, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I see risk as an opportunity for growth and innovation. Taking risks has been integral in shaping my life and career, pushing me out of my comfort zone and driving me towards new experiences and achievements.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Being a realtor has granted me the freedom to pursue my passions while pushing me beyond my comfort zone. I used to be incredibly shy, but this career has helped me break out of that shell. It hasn’t been an easy journey, but it’s been undeniably rewarding. What sets me apart is my dedication to my clients’ needs and my commitment to going above and beyond to exceed their expectations. I’m most proud of how far I’ve come, both personally and professionally. Overcoming challenges has required resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to learn from setbacks. I’ve learned that persistence and a positive mindset are key to overcoming obstacles. My story is one of transformation and growth, and I want the world to know that I’m passionate about helping others achieve their real estate goals and that I’m dedicated to providing exceptional service every step of the way.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I’d want to show them the best of the area. We’d start by visiting a local vineyard or winery with good music, like ZincHouse Winery. Then, we’d explore the vibrant food scene, starting with dinner at Stir Raleigh for some delicious local cuisine. Throughout the week, we’d mix in some adventures, Topgolf or spending a day at Wilmington Beach. For some cultural immersion, we’d check out the local art galleries and museums, such as North Carolina Museum of Art. To unwind in the evenings, we’d hit up some cozy bars with live music or DJ sets, like Peace & Saint or Level 7. And of course, no visit would be complete without a day of shopping and strolling around Downtown for unique souvenirs and local treats. Overall, the area offers a perfect blend of outdoor activities, cultural experiences, and vibrant nightlife, ensuring a memorable week for any visitor.

I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my mom, whose unwavering support, love, and encouragement have been the cornerstone of my success. Her guidance and belief in me have shaped my journey and inspired me to pursue my dreams relentlessly. Additionally, I want to recognize the incredible support network of friends, mentors, and colleagues who have played significant roles in my story, contributing to my growth and achievements along the way.
