We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Fuller and Jon Flynn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chris and Jon, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
The end goal is to make DTRMG a label and entertainment entity that helps liberate creatives from the stresses of the entertainment business. Creatives want to create, and they want to be able to trust their team to make business decisions in their best interests at all times.

At the end of our career, we (Chris and Jon), would like to be remembered for the opportunities we’ve created, taking care of our family and loved ones, and helping the next generation of creatives put their art out to impact the world.

What should our readers know about your business?
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself? Dreams To Reality Music Group, LLC. (DTR) or (DTRMG) is an up and coming music label and management company founded in Raleigh, North Carolina. We were established under the principles of transparency, creativity, and passion while modernizing the ancient concept of record labels.

We think of DTR as a Jack of All Trades. We specialize in artist and entertainment management, content creation, merchandising, artist development, and strategic business development.

Our company prides itself in fostering an environment, company culture, and transparent business practices that allow artists to be compensated fairly, maintain their artist’s rights and continue to be the inspired creatives that they are. One thing anybody following or supporting DTR should know is our heart and souls go into everything our logo is on or is associated with. Our brand logo (the DTR flame) symbolizes our commitment to trailblazing new paths for artists to have freedom, breaking industry barriers, and the future entertainers of tomorrow.

We’ve established our own line of DTRMG merchandise (https://www.dreamstorealitymgmt.com/merch) as well as flagship event “Cassettes & Cognac” where we give our artists as well other creatives the opportunity to showcase their art. Of course, we party a little bit but it’s a great time overall. We’ve hosted Cassettes & Cognac in Raleigh, as well as Washington DC. We’re looking forward to hosting C&C in other cities as we grow our brand and artists.

This journey has not been easy, and although we’re a young business; we are determined to succeed. We’ve ran into broken promises, reneged deals, the struggles of breaking into an industry where it’s mostly based on personal relationships, and finding ways to adapt to an industry where social media presence is very important. We as a company are figuring out ways to navigate the industry, find our place, make money, and keep our integrity all all the same time.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Raleigh and the Triangle area is a great place to live and be apart of. If your coming into the city, from Glenwood South and Downtown Raleigh to North Hills there are plenty of things to get into. Cary (and the area Fenton) are bustling and growing, and Durham always has things to do. Raleigh is called the City of Oaks for no reason; besides all the the nightlife and restaurants; there is plenty of nature activities to keep you entertained.

Raleigh and Durham is very artsy as well. You can always find an open mic, a poetry jam or run into some photographers bringing out the most of the triangle.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
