Meet Chauntina Clark | Podcast host and motivational speaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chauntina Clark and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chauntina, how do you think about risk?
I would like to describe myself as the ultimate risk taker. My life is summarized by taking risk. I believe you’ll never reach your full potential, or see what life has for you if you never take a risk.
Many of my closest relatives and friends can tell you, if it’s something I want I’m most likely going to get it or go after it aggressively. About 3 years ago I heard God so audibly speak and tell me to start my talk series #TalksWithTina, within 6 months I stepped out of faith and reached out to one of my role models in the field that I’m currently in and landed an interview with them! Taking a risk on what others would think is crazy, has lead me to living a life I once only dreamed of.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I host a talks series on YouTube, Facebook, instagram, and on all podcast platforms called #TalksWithTina. I started 3 years ago fresh out of relationship, and it became my healing journey on display. What I initially thought would stay exclusively on Snapchat, those following me confirmed that this was something that people could relate to, and needs to be put on other platforms.
I was so nervous to branch out, but I felt that this was something way bigger than me. I always say that this is a God thing because there is no way I would have done this… as in putting my personal business out to the public, especially when it wasn’t a favorable situation on my end. The motto for #TalksWithTina is “uncovering your roots to be become your most true and authentic self”. I didn’t know my healing journey would cause others to begin to do the work within themselves, because the public and private work that I was doing was showing them it was possible!
While discovering what my most true and authentic self was, I was able to dissect the many areas of my life that held me back from becoming the best version of myself. I learned to heal the what most would call the “ little girl” in me, to be the best woman I can be.
#TalksWithTina has been such a life changing journey, I think the most valuable thing I have gained from doing this is creating a community of like minded individuals. I hosted my first conference on February of 2023 and to my surprise those who I only knew through the online community we created, showed up in person to support me! I always said I felt like I lacked community, and more so those who are committed to pursuing their God given purpose.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned while doing #TalksWithTina is realizing your story is connected to someone else’s freedom. I couldn’t imagine if I didn’t answer the call on my life, how many people would still question theirs.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am very much a home body lol however I would definitely start at my favorite brunch spot which is first watch. I live in high point which is right outside of Greensboro, I tend to go to Greensboro for my activities. So well a trip to my favorite supermarket called super G, it has all kinds of exotic foods and goodies. Next would be the Greensboro science center, my friends enjoy quirky attractions like this, and I absolutely love this place!
I’m a nature person so the Greensboro zoo is another favorite! It’s so massive it will consume most of our day. Fueled by coffee what’s a day without Starbucks or dunkin?! That’s a daily pit stop.
Keeping up with the outdoor theme, a nice relaxing lunch with scenery… we’re headed to oak hollow lake!
Now I’m vegetarian, and for dinner my favorite place to eat is Boba house! Vegan friendly and caters to all dietary needs!
I mentioned I’m a homebody so I don’t have a huge list, but these are definitely my favorite places to go!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family has played such a monumental role in my career! My mother gets all the love, pushing me, supporting me, and loving me every step of the way and every decision that I make. My aunts Taregis and Stephanie, and uncles John and Fonzell support me more than I could ever ask! My siblings, my little brother Jelani (who acts as my bodyguard) and older siblings Cassandra and Gregory. My family has stood beside me and supported me even when it didn’t seem like it was worth it. They poured into me, financially, spiritually, emotionally, and show up for everything that I do. I’m forever grateful for my family, and I thank God for them everyday!
