Meet Caneisha Berry | Relationship Mindset Coach, Author, and Speaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Caneisha Berry and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Caneisha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process for starting my business happened after a life coach helped me overcome one of the biggest obstacles of my life. Although the challenge I faced was my marriage, I discovered that it was my thinking that was my biggest barrier. I had a mindset steeped in fear. It controlled me. Once my life coach gave me strategies for changing my relationship fear, I was able to change my life and my marriage.
Therefore, I started Berry Thoughtful Life Coaching because I wanted to help other women overcome fear and gain the courage to live their dreams.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I established my business while residing in Beijing, China, focusing on providing support to women experiencing feelings of stagnation, dissatisfaction, and unhappiness in their lives. Through my coaching services, I empower these ladies to cultivate self-love, confidence, and purpose. Leveraging a combination of workshops, retreats, and both group and individual coaching sessions, I have had the privilege of guiding numerous women in their journey to live authentically and pursue their aspirations. Now, I use those same modalities to empower female entrepreneurs to reach their highest potential.
Berry Thoughtful Life Coaching stands out due to its distinctive approach, offering clients practical tools to address intricate challenges such as imposter syndrome and negative self-talk. My coaching program provides my clients with emotional awareness to transform fear into power.
I think you asked me a question here about the challenges of entrepreneurship. Can you please add the question over this section, otherwise this part of the conversation seems off.
Undoubtedly, entrepreneurship is a formidable undertaking, albeit extremely rewarding. The role of a business owner necessitates the adept juggling of various responsibilities and continual personal development. Like many solopreneurs, I grapple with challenges such as loneliness, isolation, time management, and financial oversight. To address these common hurdles, I have implemented strategic measures. For instance, I proactively schedule time in co-working spaces to mitigate feelings of isolation. Additionally, recognizing the importance of accountability and efficient time management, I have enlisted the services of a personal coach.
I am committed to equipping clients with the necessary tools to surmount fear, thereby empowering them to embrace and pursue their aspirations. The impact of my coaching is evident in the success stories of clients who have initiated entrepreneurial ventures, enhanced their interpersonal relationships, and achieved long-term objectives. I want Berry Thoughtful Life Coaching to be known for caring about their clients and getting results.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When family and friends come to visit me in Rocky Mount, NC, I always take them to my favorite coffee shop, Larema Coffee House. Larema is so much more than a coffee shop. It’s a great place to get a meal and on weekends it becomes the must “go-to” spot in the city. From Karaoke to African Beats, Larema offers a variety of fun and entertainment.
My second favorite place to visit is located just 15 minutes away, in Nashville. The Vino Market offers a relaxed atmosphere to chill while having a glass of wine or a beer. You are allowed to bring your own meal or snacks. While there it’s likely you will meet a new friend.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Over the years I’ve coached women from around the world. I’ve also published five books. My most recent book is for children, The ABCs that Celebrate Me. It’s written to affirm children with positive affirmation. All of this is only possible because of the continuous support of my husband, Andre’ Berry.
Another person who has helped me grow my business is my business coach, Dr. Viola Coppage Pierce. Dr. Pierce is a nursing business coach. She helps nurses build profitable coaching and consultant businesses while working anywhere around the world making money and owning their own time.
