Meet Bret Cooley-Jones

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bret Cooley-Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bret, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Work life balance in the beginning seemed impossible. However, thru trial and error I’ve been able to create a good balance. For me personally balancing my full time job, being a wife and mom and making sure my clients got the best version of me was hard in the beginning until I was able to reevaluate my schedule and prioritize.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Being a mobile bartender is honestly such a fun job. It allows me the opportunity to travel, network and meet so many people. I am most proud of how much I’ve been able to accomplish in such a short amount of time and I’m so excited for the future of my business.
Being a club bartender is where I got my start and when I was introduced to the wedding/private party scene I knew it was time to elevate.
Like most business owners it started slow but thankfully grew to where I have repeat clients.
I think from the outside people think small business owners have it all figured out when in reality we are growing thru the process. So when you see us hyping ourselves up , multiple posts , just know alot of behind the scenes moves take place to make the final product that is shown to our clientele.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Brunch daily for sure would be at the top of the list! I adore the Raleigh food scene especially a food hall or rooftop lunch date. No day is complete without a spa or museum date. Even a stroll in the park!
Ending the night at a cute chic restaurant with live music and amazing cocktails.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate this shout out to my bestie. She has dubbed herself my assistant and helps keep me on track. Whether she is helping with keeping my calendar in order, helping me order supplies, assisting with events or even taking on events if I am booked! She’s such a great motivator when I need it most!
