We had the good fortune of connecting with Bella LoRe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bella, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite affirmation is something I like to remind myself of often! It’s “a younger version of your dreamed about being where you are right now.” I love it because it is so easy to forget to be grateful for where you are! You took so many steps and worked so hard to be where you are. It is so easy to constantly think about the future and what you want to accomplish next, but I think that appreciating what you have is part of what makes the hard work worth it!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Branding and social media have always been a passion of mine! Content creation combines all the things I love: story telling, branding, photography, strategy, and having fun! I began my social media journey at the beginning of college and was privileged to share my college experience with my audience. I grew so much through that experience, both personally and professionally, and I was so lucky to get to create content for some of my favorite brands.

Social media will always have it’s ups and downs, and at this point I feel like I have definitely experienced both, but every challenge has taught me to be more confident in myself. As a recent college graduate looking to expand my professional horizons into the marketing world, I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to express myself through content!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are so many beautiful spots in the area! As a Chapel Hill student, I love a lot of spots in the Chapel Hill area specifically. I would say you of course HAVE to go to He’s Not (the iconic UNC bar) and make sure you take at least one blue cup home! I would also have to take you to Al’s, which is my favorite burger spot on Franklin street. If you are looking for an affordable and delicious meal (college students, this one is for you!) you have to go to Hibachi and Co. to get some Hibachi to go! And make sure you shop for some adorable UNC goodies and Shrunken Head, my favorite Carolina merch store!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In this shoutout I want to highlight some of my fellow content creators who have inspired and supported me! Their hard work and creativity inspires me every day. These include Beth Gould, Grace Smith, Hannah Ashton, Halle Robinson, and so many more!
