We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashlee & Myndi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashlee & Myndi, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Removing barriers for our clients absolutely! We pride ourselves in not having minimums to work with us as a florist, but most importantly we change our scope of work to best fit our client’s vision. You see this when we flex to different types of designs, colors, ideas, etc. Our passion is truly fueled by bringing our client’s flower dreams to life!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We pride ourselves in always learning along the way, trying new things, and finding ways to challenge our floral capabilities!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’d take our friends and head straight to the mountains. There’s no better way to spend a day than hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains and ending the day with dumplings downtown Asheville at Shanghai Dumpling House.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Our shout out 110% goes out to our mother/grandmother. She is a portion of our inspiration for starting Sage Moon Blossoms together as a mother-daughter duo. But, most importantly she gave us the courage to chase our dreams when she opened her own floral shop and wedding chapel all those years ago. We cheered her from the sidelines, we learned how to design from her, and now we get to carry on that legacy of knowledge in our own special way – together! We couldn’t be any more grateful for her.
