Hi Arthur, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Ever since I was young my parents have instilled so many qualities like leadership, dedication, hard work and problem solving & respect into me which I’ve taken and used while working full time jobs since high school. When I first started in the window Tinting industry all I was, was a promoter for a gentlemen that tinted my first car when I was 17. After a short period of time I then asked him for a job which I got hired full time learning and helping tint 6 days a week! Since 2009 I’ve learned so much and have tinted thousands of cars boats and homes! Every day is a learning experience and I love what I do everyday

What should our readers know about your business?
My name is Artie straus I am owner of Arties professional window tinting llc, I started my tinting journey in 2009 promoting a gentlemen that’s been tinting for 20+ years as an opportunity to make side money while working a full time job near my high school. After promoting him I then spent my day off during the week at his shop to learn/help and apprentice u til I asked for a full time job working eith him 6 days a week. We serviced over 400 shops and dealerships, Paint protection film shops, ect back on Long Island NY. Once I worked with him for many years me and my wife wanted to start a family which led us to move to North Carolina in 2017 which opened up amazing doors here in the Triangle!. We’ve grown to love the holly springs area as well as everywere around it! Everyone I’ve encountered and everywere I go makes me fall in love with the area and people more and more everyday and makes me happy to know that my positive attitude and eagerness to help will go into a community of folks that love to do that same! As a one person operation I try to educate all my customers as well as offer great products that are affordable while providing the best installation available taking the necessary time on each installation to ensure the best outcome. It’s not just about the work but the customers experience as well, I try to make sure I don’t rush my customers into any decision but to guide them to there specific needs. I don’t mind spending some time to hear people’s experience and what they want or expect to ensure they know what choice suits there needs as well as coach then through all options. I feel like alot of folks rush a sale and leave customers uneducated on the newest technology the window film industry has to offer. Every customer has different needs which makes everyday special

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was here for a week I’d make sure to bring them to some of my favorite places in holly springs like vienni or hibachi at Wasabi or rock and roll sushi, after that go to raven rock state park or bass lake for a walk with my dog. The nascar hall of fame in Charlotte as well as racing experience. You can go camping in the mountains or clamping in a trailer in Ashville. I absolutly love this area and everything around it. I have the opportunity to help so many local companies like autolust detailing, helios detailing, PT Custom Graphics and other various companies that love the attention to detail like I do to ensure the customers in the Triangle get the best quality

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shout out to my parents for being hard workers and showing me what good work ethic is and how to respect people and love others
