We had the good fortune of connecting with Alex Lewis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alex, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process came mainly out of necessity. I got laid off of my remote job and instead of dwelling on it. I start to think outside the box and dancing is in my veins since been in my mother’s womb.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m proud of announcing recently the Panama Flow MasterClass Tour. It’s an exclusive panamanian workout 90 minute mid intense class, multi-location live event. It hasn’t been an easy road but good things come when you least expect it. I overcome the challenge by comparing the old me from 5 years ago and how much I had accomplish. I want the world to know there is more panamanian like me out there killing in it in multiple industries. I want to inspire other afro-latinos and minorities to keep fighting for their dreams.

 

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting I would take to Cinnaholic in Oberlin Road in Raleigh, NC. It’s a 100 % vegan place (That even meat eaters would enjoy), then take them to downtown cary to Esteamed Coffee shop in Downtown Cary, visit the NC museum of arts in Raleigh, check out any of the activities going at Dix Park. At some point of the entire week will drive to Greensboro to Mike’s Vegan grill, last but not least check a live theatre show or movie.

I want to dedicate my shoutout to my close friends Dannibeth, Stephen and Jordan. They formed a huge part of my growth.
