Meet Agie Mbye | Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Agie Mbye and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Agie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Oh wow! I knew the process wasn’t going to be easy especially when it comes to having a website, how to market my products and also how to get sales. All these thoughts were going through my head when i was starting my business, but i was not letting any of these stop be from doing what i love the most. These thoughts are normal for anyone starting a business.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
S & F Body Scrubs offers great quality products. We put lots of love and careful attention in each products our number one priority is making sure our customers reach their goals in having a great skin. What sets me apart from other businesses is i am not competing with them and i am always focusing on my products making sure i am doing better each and everyday. I make sure i come up with my own unique ideas, this will make my business different from other businesses. What i am most proud of is how far i have come, it wasn’t an easy journey but the journey is worth it. The lessons i have learned along the way is giving up is not an option there are lots of bumpers but i know i will get through it all. Most importantly i know the reason why i started. I am where i am today because of so many great advices from people with so much experiences and i will be forever grateful for that. I am always educating myself and learning how to have a successful business. I want the world to know that i am very proud of myself and never gave up on my dreams.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In my own personally view i think some of the most fun and exciting places to check out and eat would be in New York. This is just my opinion because i get to try different food from different cultures.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A big thank you to my beautiful kids, husband, siblings and my parents for supporting my dreams. I get motivated by there encouraging words each and every day. My kids are my cheerleaders they are always happy for me when i am packaging orders. I am grateful to my husband Abu for supporting me all the time. My brother Pa Mass builded my first website and bough me my first logo. My older sister Fatou and my two other brothers Modou and Sheikh share my post and contents and my parents pray for me and my business. All i can say is I have the best family.
